Microsoft has announced that it will publicly preview its AI agents next month via Copilot Studio. Users can now build their own AI agents. This feature has been in private preview since its announcement in May.

Microsoft says these AI agents will help businesses automate tasks. “Think of agents as the new apps for an AI-powered world,” Jared Spataro, Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft’s AI, said. The company claims the tool can be customized to handle tasks like acting as an IT help desk, managing employee onboarding, or being a personal concierge for sales and service teams.

Dynamics 365 expansion

Microsoft is also expanding its AI in Dynamics 365. It is adding 10 new autonomous agents to this tool. These agents will target different business functions: sales, service, finance, and supply chain management. They will include the Sales Qualification, Supplier Communications, Customer Intent, and Customer Knowledge agents.
