Microsoft Ads has introduced four updates to its Performance Max campaigns. The updates, currently in pilot testing, include LinkedIn integration and new customer targeting.

LinkedIn integration for professional targeting

Microsoft Ads will allow advertisers gain access to LinkedIn’s professional targeting data, including signals like company, industry, and job function, per Search Engine Land. The integration will be available to advertisers in the six pilot markets: the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, France, and Germany.

Granular reporting

The new reporting update will allow advertisers to analyze campaign performance by audience segments and track the performance of individual assets. The reporting feature aims to provide insights into strategies and creatives that drive results.

Smart conversion tracking for automated bidding

Microsoft is also introducing new conversion value rules that let advertisers adjust values in real-time. Advertisers can do this using location and device usage.

Focus on new customer acquisition

Microsoft will also let advertisers target new customers with options to either increase bids for first-time buyers or focus on acquiring them.
