Meta is hinting at new ad placements as per Jon Loomer. When advertisers filter by placements in Meta’s custom and reports, they see various ad placements. These placements include existing, old, and potential new ad spots that may soon be available to advertisers.

Some advertisers are starting to see new ad placements for ‘Threads’, ‘Channel’, and ‘Facebook Notifications’. However, the new placements in ‘Threads Feed’ and ‘Channels’ are unconfirmed by Meta who have released no official update. However, Jon Loomer reported that some ads are already visible in Facebook Notifications but the feature is yet to be widely rolled out. 

Last year, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Threads that monetization plans for the platform would be considered once it reached 1 billion active users.
