LinkedIn has rolled out a post-boosting feature that lets businesses promote their posts for lead generation. The platform announced, "We're introducing post boosting for Lead Generation to help you capture high-quality leads."
This feature aims to allow brands to turn their organic content into ads. The platform says the tool will let businesses promote content and gather leads using first-party data.
LinkedIn's post-boosting feature is available worldwide on mobile and desktop and in all languages. To activate the tool, users can:
Select a post
Choose a budget and targeting options
Select a campaign objective and end date.
Complete the lead form template to gather details from potential leads.
Launch the campaign.
Social Media Today notes that this option doesn’t offer the full range of targeting features in LinkedIn’s Campaign Manager. Advertisers may still need to run a complete campaign for better targeting.
