LinkedIn is rolling out new ad features for advertisers. Â
Updates for live event ads
LinkedIn has introduced new video options for promoting live events. One of the updates includes an option that lets companies promote posts from members about events they're hosting. This can be accessed via the “Thought Leader Ads.”Â
Brands can also share 30-second “sneak peek” videos of live broadcasts. Users can watch these videos during or after an event. LinkedIn also added more targeting options to the event set-up process. The company says this will let users “regionally target” specific audiences for their events.Â
Accelerate campaign expansion
LinkedIn is also expanding its “Accelerate” campaign tool. The feature uses AI to automate the ad campaign creation process.Â
The company says new features include adding video or document ads, like an eBook or customer testimonial, in addition to single-image ads.
LinkedIn also added new campaign objectives including brand awareness, website conversions, and video views.
Wire program expansion
LinkedIn is also expanding its wire program. The expansion will enable brands to run in-stream video ads alongside trusted publisher content. Previously available only to select U.S. partners, this feature is now being rolled out to EU brands as well.
