Google has introduced Search Console Recommendations, a new tool that offers personalized suggestions to optimize your website's visibility on Google Search, by providing insights based on extensive search data.

How Google Search recommendations work

The feature will be accessible on the overview page and it will offer practical advice based on the latest search data. It might suggest integrating structured data to make content more understandable for Google.

For example, if your site is not ranking well for certain keywords, the tool might suggest using structured data to describe your content to Google better. It could also recommend adding a sitemap to ensure all your pages are indexed or highlight trending queries to target new content.

Additionally, the tool identifies trending queries and pages, allowing you to align your content strategy with current search trends.

For instance, if the tool reveals that "Black Friday Sales" is a trending query, you could create or optimize content around this topic to attract more traffic. If it highlights that a particular blog post on your site is gaining traction, you might decide to promote it more or create related content to leverage its popularity.

How it will be rolled out to users

The rollout of this feature will be gradual, with availability expanding over time. Initially, it will be accessible to a limited number of sites as Google tests the feature.

Website owners will only receive recommendations when Google’s systems see them as relevant to their site.
