Google has added a feature that highlights content creators in its search results as per Search Engine Land. The new feature identifies individuals as expert content creators or trusted sources in search result pages.

Users can now see these content creators' profiles displayed in search results related to their fields or areas of expertise. Now, when users search for topics like travel or medicine, they might see profiles labeled "Content Creator (Travel)" or "Content Creator (Medicine)."

According to Search Engine Land, the feature is designed to improve how users find credible information online. This aligns with Google's E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) standards — a key component of its algorithm that assesses content quality.

Search Engine Land also explained that the update might boost the visibility of creators and their work in search result pages.
