Google Ads has introduced a new data retention policy.  Starting on November 13, 2024, Google Ads will only retain and provide access to reporting data for 11 years. As stated by Google, “Beginning on November 13, 2024, reporting data collected by Google Ads will be available for 11 years. After that period, the data will not be accessible via the Google Ads interface or APIs.”

This policy will be applied globally to all Google Ads accounts. It will affect data from the Google Ads interface and Google Ads API using GoogleAds.Search or GoogleAds.SearchStream.

The update will be automatic. Advertisers would not be required to take any action.
